Thanks for your interest in possibly teaching RE for the 2025-2026 semester! A typical semester requires 3 or 4 Sundays being the Lead Teacher, and 3 or 4 Sundays being an Assistant Teacher. Our Safe Church Policy always requres two adults in every room any time a child or youth is present. Karen (or a CYRE Team Member) is also downstairs to help with bathroom breaks, questions, etc. Teachers are able to set their schedule together and choose the Sundays they are in the classroom on Sept. 7 during Teacher Training. This will take place 11am-1pm at UUCM.

A typical classroom has 4 Teachers who rotate Sundays in the Fall semester (September to January), and another four Teachers in the Spring semester (January to June).

Soul Matters curriculum is used in the elementary classes. This fall, the middle school class will be using the Mosaic curriculum, then returning to Soul Matters for the spring semester. Our 8th-10th graders will be completing the Coming of Age curriculum all year long.
